Dried Loose Leaf Tea using organic ingredients sourced in Salem, MA. You can also cold-infuse this in a room temp or cold water bottle and drink throughout the day.
Ingredients: Ginger, Lemon peel, Lemon verbena, chamomile
Instructions
- Boil water
- Measure 1 teaspoon of tea.
- add to a loose leaf infuser or empty tea bag.
- Steep in hot water for 2-3 minutes
- 5. Add Honey or stevia.

Tea runs in our family, as we ran one of the first apothecaries on the corner where Moody's Gifts now sits , directly across from the Hawthorne Hotel! Our family included botanists, doctors, servicemen and healers who served Salem since 1628.
Sally Ballou was a key figure in Salem’s tea culture during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She managed the historic East India Inn & Tea House, a gathering place for travelers and locals alike, where she served fine teas and refreshments. Later, she became the first employee of the House of the Seven Gables tea house, continuing Salem’s long-standing connection to tea and trade. Her dedication to hospitality and the art of tea service left a lasting mark on the city’s history, an inspiration for this special blend.
