Malachite Properties:

Malachite is copper carbonate hydroxide mineral and is formed layer by layer in deep underground spaces with hydrothermal fluids. It was also name the "mallow green stone" because of how it resembles the mallow plant. The first recorded mining was 4000 BCE.

Many have used it for protection against illness and predatory spirits. Ancient Egyptians believed that the afterlife contained an eternal paradise, referred to as the "Field of Malachite", which resembled their lives, but with no pain or suffering.
