Blue Tiger's Eye Properties

Blue Tiger's Eye is a semi-precious rock that has a unique chatoyance or "hawk eye" effect due to its formation. It is made of microcrystalline quartz and inclusions of crocidolite that create the pseudomorphosis of one rock replacing the appearance of a mineral. Crocidolite is safe to wear against the skin because it has been sanded and finished under the right conditions as well as encapsulated within quartz. Iron impurities evolve the type of blue it has. 

Historically it has been use in Ancient Egypt for healing and protection as well as in China for it's energy balancing properties.
